The Waddleton Chronology book of the month - March 2007



Powder & Crinoline - Old Fairy Tales has recently been bought for the Waddleton Collection. The 24 illustrations are by Kay Nielsen (1886-1957), each onlay colour picture within a decorative green frame on heavy buff paper.




These illustrations are printed in very good quality strong litho colours and black, photographs taken from 1880.198, 1880.199 and 1880s.236.
